A little about ourselves

The Hamilton Community Gospel Choir (HCGC) based in Hamilton, New Zealand is an interdenominational choir of all ages, made up of people who love to sing gospel style and present the love of Jesus Christ through song.  

The choir is dedicated to presenting the music of God to the people of Hamilton and Aotearoa (New Zealand) and overseas, as opportunities allow.    We welcome every opportunity to entertain and inspire our community with a contemporary range of music, mostly in the gospel style.

The choir is run by a Trust Board of volunteers, and the membership ranges between 35 to 50 singers who are passionate about what they do, volunteering their time, energy and talent for the benefit and enjoyment of the wider community.

People in the choir have made lifelong friends and consider choir members part of their extended family.
