Join us to reconnect, remember, retell our stories and sing our favourites again together.

Programme Outline & Other Details

MORNING:​​
9-10am - Meet, greet and reminisce with the choir whaanau
​
10am - Official start with remembrances & updates from our MD's over the years, with a bit of fun along the way
  • Sam Konese 1999 - Beginnings from Vision Leadership College (unfortunately Sam is unable to attend in person)
  • Igelese Ete 2000-2001
  • Helen Tupai 2002 (unfortunately Helen is unable to attend in person)
  • Igelese Ete 2003-2005 including trip to Korea 2005
  • Selepa Fetu Sasalu (nee Vai) 2006-2010 including trip to USA 2008 & Samoa 2010
  • Sue Shepherd 2011-2015 including trip to Melbourne 2014
  • Team of Debbie Shepherd, Sarah Freeman, Maria Marsh, Bev Parkinson 2017-2019 including ​trip to Wellington  2018
  • Debbie Shepherd & Sarah Freeman 2020-2022
  • Debbie Shepherd 2023 to current
LUNCH:​​
Bring a plate of food for a shared lunch.  Please bring finger food that doesn't need heating or refrigerating (and on a disposable plate would be a great help). 
​AFTERNOON:
Singing and Sharing Together from approx 1:30pm (the time will be flexible with the day).  See and/or remember the choir through the last 25+ years.  Share some stories and memories and join in singing choir classics and favourites.  It won't matter if you don't know all the songs, you just join in as you can (words provided) or just sit back and listen and enjoy.  There will be something for everyone.   

​A Spotify playlist of some of the songs we will sing is available  - we will send you the link to it, once you have registered. 
​FRIENDS & FAMILY:
Family and friends of the choir are welcome to come and listen from about 2pm.  Gold coin koha upon entry would be appreciated.  Please let us know they are coming on your registration form (or later by email), so we can plan seating for them.  Thanks.

​There is a $10 charge to help with the costs of the day.  Payment online to our account would be preferred, as follows:

If you have any memorabilia that you would like to contribute, you can do so as follows:

PHOTOS:
Digital photos (or prints you can scan to make digital), can be uploaded through our GuestCam account, details of which will be provided to you after your registration is verified.

You could make up your own "memory board" of printed photos and items, and bring it on the day.​
​VIDEOS:
Digital videos can be uploaded through our GuestCam account, details of which will be provided to you after your registration is verified.

​If you have a video tape or DVD, check the memorabilia list via the button below, to see if we already have it.  If you can't see it on the list, and you are able to convert it to a digital file, please let us know, and we will provide the details so you can upload it to us.​
​PROGRAMMES & POSTERS:
If you have posters or programmes or the like from over the years, please check the memorabilia list via the button below, to see if we already have it.  If you can't see it on the list, and you are able to convert it to a digital file, please let us know, and we will provide the details so you can upload or send it to us.
​​CLOTHING & OTHER ITEMS :
If you have any other choir items of interest, you can bring them on the day.

Uniform Amnesty: If you have any choir uniform lurking in a back cupboard or drawer, please bring it with you to return.

If you know any past choir members, please let them know about this reunion - we want as many people there as possible, and for no one to miss out because they didn't know it was on.   As a choir, we have lost touch with many or don't have their current contact details, so please use your networks to spread the word.
